About the project
Social Response was approached by Wyng client and pharmaceutical company Johnson & Johnson to produce a promotional code campaign for one of their skin care brands, Clean & Clear. Customers had to find the unique code on the back of the product, enter it into the campaign and they were then able to qualify for free music and video downloads. Clean & Clear have teamed up with the Middle Eastern band The Five. The prize is a free music download and a video message from one of the five members of the band. Once a unique code is entered it is checked against a server that sits with all the codes and validates it. The customer would then receive a thank you message and their prize.
The Clean & Clear campaign had to be accessible in both English and Arabic. Social Response wrote code which detected which language the site was in and ensured the campaign was presented with the correct text. Social Response also overcame the error message problem. When customers submitted incorrect information the error messages were always presented in English. Our awesome developers wrote code to translate the error message into the correct language to ensure the customer using the site could understand. These modifications were all customizations on the Wyng contact form worked on all the main browsers and was easy to use on both a tablet and mobile phone device. This campaign is used to gather information about customers and create a larger email list to market products to.
